By Matt Closson

Has the perfect relationship in your life come to an end? Nobody understood you like they did. When you were together no one else mattered. Try as you might your relationship has ended. Ever say to yourself? "I want my ex back, tell me how." Maybe I can help.

Remaining friends with your ex is the key. You will have to get by your own pain for now and deal with it later. Show respect for your partners decision for the break up. Value their opinion and you will show how mature you are. Remaining friends will help to rekindle your relationship in the future.

Break communication with your ex for the time being, if you can. If you share common time with friends, family or kids. Always be polite. Keeping a friendship going with you ex gives you an opportunity to heat things back up. In time your ex will realize the mistake they made.

Use the time away from your ex, to better yourself. By turning your energy spent on trying to get them back to a more productive goal, not only are you helping yourself heal you are also making a more attractive "you" for your ex or for the next person you develop a relationship with.

Maybe lose some weight or stop smoking. Pick a goal that you know you will fallow though with. You'll feel better about yourself. Picking a goal you think other would have you do will only be a disservice to you and your ex.

Whatever you do don't do this!

Be careful and take it slow when your ex shows signs they want you back. There is nothing wrong with making them work for it. To make your relationship last, you and your ex have to be willing to work for it. We always take better care of the things we have to work for. This will leave them wanting more. Too many relationships fail from rushing back to the way things were.

Have you ever said? "I want my ex back." Here is how to do it. This is one of several ways to get your ex back in your life. You should become familiar with them all if you want your relationship to last. Above all, try not to burn bridges you may need them one day.
