Fall First Dates Things To Do

By Lynne Hughes

The fall season is a great time for dating. There are so many fun and festive things you can do. The weather is almost perfect in most areas, as it's still very nice outdoors; not too hot and not too cold. Taking advantage of the beautiful fall season for dating lends itself to some great ideas for first dates for singles.

1) Visit a pumpkin patch to choose your seasonal pumpkin. You'll have a lot of fun making your choice. It's so fun to act like a child again. There's a plus if they have a corn maze there, too.

2) Attend a wine festival or wine tasting with your first time date. You'll learn a lot about each other and the wine may take off some of the pressure of the date.

3) Find an Oktoberfest to attend with your date. They are very festive and fun and a great way to get to know someone. If there is dancing, partaking in it will give you a chance to get to know your date even more and have a lot of laughs.

4) Go to the park and check out all the fall leaves and their different colors.

5) If you dare, visit a haunted house. You'll have someone to hold on to and both you and your date will have a great many laughs. Well, probably not until you leave.

6) A bonfire is a great, laid back way to get to know someone and cozy up.

7) Finding a local hayride can be a great way to get to know someone and have some great laughs, enjoy the weather and a cup of hot chocolate or apple cider.

Whichever date you choose as your first day this fall, make sure you choose something that both you and your date will enjoy and give you plenty of opportunity to get to know one another. Always practice safe dating tips.
